Meet Kathryn Waters

A Proven Leader. A True Neighbor. Your Voice.

Kathryn (Kathy) Waters knows your voice and vote matter. Kathy knows constituent’s voices have been heard but ignored when it comes time to vote. Kathy wants to make sure when it comes time to cast votes for the 125th District that your needs are considered and met. Kathy became a resident of the 125th district as a toddler and has been a resident of the 125th district for over 50 years. Kathy grew up in Lower Paxton Township and was the first African American Deputy District Attorney prosecuting criminals on behalf of residents of Dauphin County.

Kathy graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where she received her bachelorette degree in Political Science with a minor in Speech Communications. She went on to receive her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Kathy litigated civil cases in discrimination law on behalf of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. Kathy has been a federal attorney. In particular, she has been an intellectual property attorney for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and an attorney for the Social Security Administration concerning disability law. She has held numerous legal and management positions for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well. Kathy is now in private practice as an attorney focusing on criminal defense, family law, contract law and much more. Kathy has been an attorney for 30 years.

Kathy has raised two children in Lower Paxton Township and has volunteered a great deal of her time to helping her community through her work in her church as an ordained reverend. Kathy also volunteers her time as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Incorporated and the Links Incorporated. So vote Kathy for Congress (your PA Representative of the 125th District)!

A Bold Vision. Real Solutions

Protecting Healthcare Access

Healthcare is a right and not a privilege. We work hard and should all have healthcare that meets our individual needs and gives back to doctors and patients the rights to choose medications and treatments to  meet the needs of the patients at the center of healthcare.

Investing in Education

Some of the schools in the 125th District rank in the bottom 50% of Pennsylvania School Districts. Let's work together to increase the knowledge and ranking of our schools. to catapult our children to a higher level for greater success.

Defending Our Rights

Our children now have less rights than we had so lets work together listening to one another, working with one another, and ensuring votes are cast to restore basic rights for all our constituents.
